The AR breakfast will be held on Jan 20th in the library. The library will be closed for checking out books or doing AR Quizzes until 8:15 a.m.

All books must be returned by Dec. 18th. Students will be fined of books are kept out over Christmas break. Students may take AR quizzes up to Dec. 18th.
Congratulations to the 24 students who earned 100 points or more on our Accelerated Reading Program! We celebrated with a pizza lunch. This year we set a record!! The last quarter 41 kindergartners qualifies for the AC breakfast. These students have read 12 books and passed the quizzes.

During this special week, we will hold a BOOK FAIR in the library from Monday until Thursday. All students and parents are encouraged to come into the library and browse through the books on display and make purchases.

2008 Battle of the Books

of Books. SJA had two very successful teams last year placing 2nd and 3rd among eleven teams from local
junior high schools.

Accelerated Readers quizzes may be taken through June 3rd.
Six Flag six hour reading club forms are due Friday, February 22 in the library. Late entries cannot be accepted.
