1B Week of March 2

This week is a short week. We will play outside and our area can be a messy one. We will do our best to stay away from mud. Continue to send boots, even if there is no snow. Girls with otherwise bare legs, should bring pants or snowpants.

We are learning about some special saints and how we can become one too!

This week we are reviewing addition facts and adding multiple numbers. I will be sending the daily workbook home for homework to be returned the next day. We will progress through this Volume quickly as it is mostly review..
Practice Math Facts through 12 for the Third Quarter.
Angels
We have begun working on Telling Time to the Hour. This week we will learn about time at the half hour and eventually at 5 minute intervals. We will also learn about elapsed time.
The homework for this week is pages 87-90.
Keep practicing Math Facts to 12.
Science for 1A
We will be studying animal needs, food, water, air, shelter. We will differentiate between meat eating and plant eating animals.
