=====================================================
RELIGION: Continue Ch. 8 in textbook learning how to live the GREAT Commandment. Continue student presentations on “Wanted Saints for Heaven.” God raises saints in very age and, as weak and frail as we all are, we are the clay the divine potter is choosing to use today. The students are having a BLAST turning our saint presentations into a TV show complete with a MC, make-up artists, Boom boy, camera crew, stage technicians, commercials, etc. Ms. Joy (SJA counselor) is our guest speaker on “bullying” - all different types both passive bullying and active bullying.
.
SOCIAL STUDIES: Continue Lewis and Clark unit identifying reasons for the expedition and states making up this purchase. Because I was absent, the virtual tour of the tomb of Lincoln etc. using the wireless laptops was postponed to this week.
.
SCIENCE: The endangered map has been postponed. Continue research and taking of notes on note cards. NEWS ALERT! Lyuba, a 40,000-year-old baby woolly mammoth, makes her American debut at Chicago’s Field Museum from March 5 - September 6. A Siberian reindeer herder in 2007 discovered the amazingly well-preserved Lyuba. See the exhibit called “Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age.”
