RELIGION: Each day our morning prayer will include one decade of the sorrowful mysteries as we journey with Christ on His walk to Calvary. We officially begin the Wanted Saint poster presentations. Watch the “Lamb of God” video portraying the passion of Jesus. Continue to watch the dvd of St. Joseph of Cupertino, the flying Saint. Begin Chapter 8 understanding God’s love. Continue to learn with confidence the Act of Contrition prayer.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Complete Chapter 7 on the Midwest by describing major towns and knowing the difference between primary and secondary research. Review and prepare for the test on Thursday (remember ch. 7 notes are due at the time of the test with a parent signature). Using the wireless laptops, students will take a virtual tour of Lincoln’s tomb, Springfield, etc. Special thanks to one of our room moms who when to Benedictine University and brought back to us the “Lewis and Clark” tub. Ask your child about it!

SCIENCE: Continue researching key information on an endangered animal and recording notes on note cards. Begin rough draft of map identifying where in the world their endangered animal can be found. The map is due the following week (Tuesday). And.. the same room mom also brought us the “Endangered Animal” tub. WOW! Ask your child about it!
