5A - Week of February 15-19

Wednesday: Ash Wednesday mass at 10 a.m.
Thursday: Hot lunch
Spelling: Students will receive their new spelling list for the next 5 units on Tuesday. For the next 5 units students will not be using their 5A cafe sheet. They will have different activities to complete every week for their homework. Please study the words each week with your child.
9:30 Math: This week students will start to add fractions and mixed numbers with both like and unlike denominators.
10:30 Math: Students will finish learning about chapter 12 and have their test on Friday.
Science: This week we will finish up our study of the solar system by learning about stars and the universe. The next science unit will start the following week.
English: Students will continue to learn about irregular verbs this week. They will also continue to work on and edit their how-to paper.
