Everybody should be checking Ed-line for any missing assignments.
Math News
8th Grade POTW:
One-sixth of a steel beam is in cement below the bed of a river. Two-fifths of the beam is in the water and seventy eight feet of the beam is above water. How long is the steel beam? (A drawing may help you set up the problem)
8th Grade Math:
8-1: Ch. 13 quiz will be this Wednesday or Thursday.
8-3: Ch. 6 test will be Thursday.
7th Grade POTW:
Miles receives a weekly allowance of $8.00. He can earn $5.00 more for each special job he completes beyond the usual chores. In twelve weeks, Miles wants to have saved enough money to buy a video game player that costs $210.00. If he saves all of his money, how many special jobs does he need to complete to earn what he needs?
7th Math News
7-1: Ch. 6 test will be this Wednesday or Thursday.
7-2: (Purple) Ch. 6 test will be Thursday or Friday
6th Grade POTW:
Your math teacher assigned one homework problem for Monday night. On each of the following nights, for the rest of the week, she assigned three times as many problems as the previous night. At the end of the week, all of the problems of the chapter had been assigned. How many problems did the chapter have?
6th Grade Math:
6-1: (Purple) Ch. 6 quiz Wednesday or Thursday
6-3: (Red) No test or quiz this week.
