Ms. Weber’s Update: Week of Feb. 1st - 5th

I look forward to seeing everyone at the kick off mass on Sunday and then at open house in the afternoon Please read the blog for the many activities going on throughtout the week. Everyday we have something special to look forward to. We will also be collecting money for the adopt-a-student fund. Collections will take place everyday this week. Any money collected will be greatly appreciated. 7th grade has no vocabulary due on Tuesday because we have performing arts from 1-2. Wednesday we have a Blessing of the Throats from 11:30-12:00. Friday is a spirit day and jeans and sweat-shirts are ok. In other class news please read below:
7th Eng. We will continue with modifiers and a test will be given on Thursday
7th Lit. We will continue to read The Red Badge of Courage. Chap. 2-3 quiz will be given on Wedesday and chap. 4-5 will need to be read for Thursday.
8th Eng. We will continue with grammar this week and a quiz will be given next week.
8th Lit. We will start reading the Pearl and chapters will be assigned accordingly. Quiz over chapters 1 and 2 will be given Thursday.
6th Eng. We will start back up with grammar this week and we will be working on phrases
6th Lit. We will continue to read Red Fern and a quiz over chapters 9-12 will be given on Friday.
