We will be preparing for our families to visit our classroom on Sunday, January 31st after 11:30 Mass. I look forward to seeing you all there! We have lots to show you!
The SMARTboard has offered our kindergartners a new way of learning! It allows for each of us to become part of a lesson and we love to interact with it! Father Gabriel and Sister Carolyn came to visit last week! We showed them all the fun stuff we know how to do with our SMARTboard!
We have been discussing the short /u/ and short /o/ sounds. We have done sorts, word building, and different phonics games. Ask your son/daughter about “Making Words” They love it!
This week’s word wall words are: could & when
Science: The children are making a “Where I live…” book. They are all such great authors and illustrators. It will be coming home at the end of the week.
Have a great week and please don’t forget about the All School Mass and Open House at 11:30 on January 31st! Bring your whole family! All are encouraged to come!
