The Religious Education Office and Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Joliet have established a Family Life committee. We are fortunate to have a current, long-standing SJA parent serving on this committee. This committee is working to find programs to supplement the Family Life program. These programs will provide the materials and resources needed to teach human sexuality with values rooted in our Catholic faith. In light of the committee’s work, I hope to offer a program to both fifth and sixth grade children and their parents, in lieu of the Robert Crown Center program, when it becomes available next fall.
