It was wonderful to see everyone back at school this week!  It seems like everyone had a wonderful break.  The students seem well rested and ready to tackle the second half of the school year.  Dance class is officially underway.  Money needs to be turned in by next week if your child would like to continue.  Dance class is on Monday’s and runs through March. 7th grade has a vocabulary test on Tuesday over Unit 9.  Wednesday the second literature log is due.  Those are all of my general announcements.  In other class news please read below:

7th Eng. Continue with Chap.14 and a quiz will be given on thursday.

7th Lit.  We will continue reading the Diary of Anne Frank.  Study guide packets are to be worked on and your third project is due on Tuesday.  You may turn it in early on Monday if you wish.

8th Eng. We will finish up Chap. 23 and a test will be given on Thursday.

8th Lit. Continue to read Tom Sawyer.  Chap. 24 and 25 are due Monday, Chap. 26 is due on Tuesday, Quiz Wed over chap. 23-26, Thursday third project is due and chap. 27.  If you wish to turn in your project early you may do so.  All chapters require study guide and vocab.

6th Eng. We will continue with direct and indirect objects and move on to predicate nominatives.  A test over chap. 14 will be given on Wednesday.

6th Lit.  We are going to start Where the Red Fern Grows.  Chapters 1-3 with study guide will be due on Wednesday.  Thursday there will be a quiz over chapters 1-3.
