Many thanks to our wonderful SJA family for all kindnesses during the Christmas season. We so appreciate the PSO hosting a wonderful breakfast for the staff, the parents for generous donations to the teacher fund, lovely gifts and cherished thoughts.
As we begin the New Year, we teachers are learning all that our newly installed SmartBoards can do. We are truly fortunate to have such technology in our school.
On Wednesday, Jan. 6, the 8th graders will have a group picture taken for the yearbook. They will be in their uniforms.
On the topic of yearbook, I am in need of team pictures. These do not have to be professional shots–just someone with a digital camera taking a group picture and then e mailing me the shot as an attachment. I ask that you identify the team (B1, etc.) and mention if anyone is not in the picture. I need these by the middle of January.
Gr. 8–test on punctuation chapter Friday.
Gr. 7–test on pronouns Thursday,
Gr. 6–the students have had their writing returned. Please look it over, sign the score sheet, and return both–they will be placed in the writing folders. We are beginning the study of complements–this week learning direct objects.
