I hope everyone enjoyed the Holidays with family and friends.  I had a very relaxing break and I am very excited to be seeing the children again.  A very big “thank you” to all the families for your continued generosity.  I feel truly blessed.

I have very exciting news!  Due to the continued support and generosity of SJA families, K3 received a SmartBoard.  I am extremely excited to get it up and running and show the children the amazing things it does! Thank you!!!!

Did your children tell you that Father Gabriel came to visit?  He was shocked by the kindergartners knowledge of the meaning of the Advent Season.  We love when he visits!  Also, Sister Carolyn’s nephew (Mr. Brian) volunteered in our classroom 2 weeks ago.  He helped us so much!  The children absolutely adored him.  We made him a Christmas plate with our names, and I’ve recently heard news that he will be returning this month.  YAY! The children are going to be thrilled!
We’re diving right back in…

Social Studies: We are going to be learning about the world we live in.  We are going to start on a small scale with our homes leading us to our neighborhoods, eventually make our way to our home: the earth!

High Frequency Words: REVIEW WEEK! Report cards will be sent home in 2 weeks.

Religion: We will be taking a look at our Church family.  Also, we will celebrate the Feast of The Three Kings on Wednesday, January 6th!
REMINDER: HOT LUNCH THURSDAY!
Can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Miss Mayor :)
