Since the score will be posted on Edline, I will collect the tests after we go over them. As always, if you would like to see the test itself, please write a note and I will send it home. We are writing an expository three paragraph paper on a favorite family holiday tradition. Each night the student will type a paragraph, save it, print it, and bring it to class. We do some revising and editing and then move on to the next paragraph. It is important that the students keep up. They do receive points, which are factored into the final writing grade.
7th grade–still working on pronouns. We will have a quiz on Wednesday. The research papers will be returned this week. Please look over the grading, sign the score sheet, and return that. The students should keep the papers as reference for the science paper form.
8th grade–Finally, we have completed the comma rules. Wednesday we will have a quiz on end marks and commas.
Vocab test units 4-6 Tuesday Dec. 15.
