PE Department Week of 12/14/09

When we return from Christmas break, we will begin testing the kids on serving, passing and setting. 4th and 5th grades also will play volleyball this week, and we will begin our unit on dance with them after break. 3rd grade will play another week of “neucomb” volleyball. We are so pleased with our 3rd graders at how well they have taken to handling a volleyball. Good job 3rd grade!
1st and 2nd grades will exercise and play games to holiday music. Fr. Garbriel stopped by last week during gym class to talk to our 2nd graders about Advent and what an important season it is. Father was quite impressed with how smart our 2nd graders are. Kindergarten will continue their unit on dance. Last week Kindergarten learned “Miss Suzy and the Alligator Purse”. Ask them about it.
This will be our last correspondence until the first of the year. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
