3rd week of Advent approaches…still time to prepare your “house”

What a wonderful opportunity as a family and SJA family to “clean” our spiritual homes in readiness for Christ and we prepare our Earthly homes as well..
Here are the current doings in class and beyond…
BOWLING…Last bowling for the calendar year is this Monday the 14th. Please arrive for pick ups around 4pm. Registration for new bowling will be the week school starts in Jan. and is scheduled to begin Mon. 1/25/2010. A special thanks on behalf of our students and myself to all my volunteers and drivers without whom there really would be no program. There will still be a need for drivers and chaperons next session. Info will be blog posted in Jan. 2010.
6,7,8 Religion: All classes have their own Advent calendar that they will use and pray with all through Advent. After break all will be collected and reviewed. The originals have been signed by me, if they loose it they can re-do but for a lower grade.
6th Social Studies: Ancient Rome
7th Social Studies: Bill of Rights, Wednesday Dec 16th, 50 States and Capitals test. WWW.ilike2learn.com is a good review site, click states and capitals quiz.
8th Social Studies: Beginning World War I.
6th USA: Test on all 50 states and capitals Friday Dec 18th. All flash cards due.
6th SS lab: Hawaiian resort/restaurant project due Monday 12/14.
