Brrrr!! It was a chilly week but the children had a great time playing in the snow. May I remind you that we do go outside everyday unless the temperature is below 20. Please make sure that your child has gloves/mittens, a hat and boots. Please make sure that the girls have their legs covered when they go out. There were a few cold hands and legs this week.
We had a wonderful visit from Father Gabriel this week. The children delighted him with their responses to his questions. They are really into the spirit of Advent and preparing themselves for the birthday of Jesus.
The excitement for Christmas is definitely present in 2A, as well. Next Monday is Kris Kringle. Don’t forget to send money and a plan for shopping with your child. It is fun for them to do the shopping and make the decisions. Thursday is Sister’s Christmas buffet lunch that we eat in the gym. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is festive. Thank you to Sister and to all the volunteers that make it so special.
Finally, Friday we will have our class party in the afternoon and then the Christmas program in the evening. Please have your child in the classroom by 6:15. The first show will be from 6:30-7:15. The children will return to 2A after they perform. Only a parent may pick up their child from the homeroom after their performance.
Thank you for sending in the Kleenex and paper towel. We are all set for a few months.
