- Mid-Progress reports will go home in the Wednesday envelopes
Religion: We will begin chapter 4, In God’s Image; learning that everyone is created in the image of God. We will also take some time each day to celebrate advent and discuss ways we can prepare for Christ’s coming.
Reading: The snowman project is due Friday. The students must have their rough draft approved before receiving the template for their snowman. Be sure they use the form that was included with the project description.
English: We will review the rules for spelling the past and present tense of verbs, identify and write past tense verbs with the helping verbs has, have, or had, with singular and plural subjects, and write the past tense forms of irregular verbs.
Writing: This week our focus will be punctuating dialogue and making sure our sentence beginnings vary (not all sentence begin the same way.
Spelling: A copy of this week’s spelling list went home on Thursday; test and homework are due Thursday, December 10.
