As a reminder to all, Tuesday, December 8, is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. An all school Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM.
8B Vocabulary: The Review for Units 4-6, pages 72-80 is due Tuesday, December 8.
Math Students: You can access the Problem of the Week by visiting Mrs. Svitak’s page. Remember that the POTW is worth one extra credit point if turned in on Monday. These extra credit points really add up over twelve weeks, so consider turning your work in early!
8-2 Math: The Chapter 5 Mid-Chapter Quiz is scheduled for Wednesday, December 9.
7-3 Math: The Chapter 4 Test is scheduled for Thursday, December 10.
6-2 Math: We will continue to explore patterns and functions in Chapter 4. No tests or quizzes are scheduled this week.
7th and 8th grade Science students: You should be well on your way to wrapping up your science fair project experiment and should be preparing to display your results in tables and graphs. You should also be in the process of writing the required parts of your paper. You can find the required forms such as Abstract, Safety Sheet, etc. under the Resources tab on the St. Joan’s home page or by visiting Mrs. Anderson’s page.
