Published by Mrs. Zydron (8A) November 30th, 2009 in Announcements.Gr. 6–all this week we will be reviewing chapter 12–quite a lengthy chapter which completes the parts of speech concentration. We will be testing next week, most probably Wednesday. The online text has excellent review sections.
Gr. 7–we have been writing paragraphs daily for the English research paper. They should be typed and saved, and they are checked in class. We should finish the actual writing process this week. We then will concentrate on form–mechanics, citations, etc. While I expect the students to be responsible for the writing of their papers, I encourage input from any and all who would help in reading through the students’ work. Often sentences are awkward, too lengthy, too short, etc. Simply pointing this out and making general suggestions would be a great help.
