Religion: We will finish up with chapter 3 and take the test on Thursday. The first page of the test will be similar to tests they have taken in the past; however, there will be an additional page in which the children will read a passage and decide which Commandment is being referred to. Please be sure to study page 65 in the religion book. The bible verse for this week is John 15:10
Reading: The Snowman book project is due December 11. The students must have their rough draft approved before receiving the template for their snowman. Be sure they use the form that was included with the project description.
English: We will continue with unit 3 focusing on forming and spelling correctly present, past, and future tense verbs.
Writer’s Workshop: This week we will be focusing on the trait of organization, making sure each of their stories has a beginning, middle and end. Also, we will be discussing the importance of using transitions and practice adding them to our stories.
Spelling: There was no spelling list this week. The new list will be given on Thursday.
