Welcome November (can you believe it is already November?), after what I am sure was a busy Halloween weekend.  How much candy has everyone eatten in the last two days?  I am sure enough to last you the rest of the year.  Anyways, we have a regular schedule this week.  No changes.  7C has a vocabulary test on Tuesday over unit 5.  In one week (11/9-11/13), the entire school will participate in a collection of items to send overseas to our military service personnel.  Operation Support Our Troops Illinois will sort, package, and mail off everthing for us.  The 7th grade will collect granola bars (individually wrapped), and muscle rub ointment.  Any travel size personal care items (shampoo, mouthwash, deodorant, toothpaste, bandaids, wetwipes, chap stick, etc.) are also greatly needed.  Please send as little or as much as your house can manage.  Know that each item will be used and appreciated at a combat outpost where frequently the luxury of running water and indoor plumbing may not exist.  Thank you so much for your support.  We greatly appreciate your cooperation.
