8th Grade POTW

To be exempt from the last test in Algebra class, a student must have an average of 85%. To be exempt, what must John score on his fifth test if his first four test grades are 92, 75, 88, and 74?

7th Grade POTW

Suzie buys a carton of peas from the Sweet Pea Vegetable Company. The company states that there are eight peas in every pod, ten pods in every pack, and a dozen packs in every carton. Suzie opens the carton at home and realizes that the carton was one pack short and that one of the packs was one pod short. How many peas were actually in the carton that Suzie purchased?

7th Grade Math:  7- 3 will take their Ch. 3 quiz this Tuesday.  7-2 Math may have their Ch. 3 test this Friday

6th Grade POTW

Mrs. Wenzel has 16 basketballs, 28 tennis balls, and 12 hula hoops to use for a game with her gym class. To play the game, Mrs. Wenzel must divide a class of 24 students into equal-sized groups. Each group must receive the same number of basketballs, tennis balls, and hula hoops. How many equal-sized groups are possible? How many basketballs, tennis balls, and hula hoops will each group use for the game?

6th Grade Math:  Blue group will have their Ch. 3 quiz Tuesday or Wednesday. Purple group may have their Ch. 3 test Friday.
