- Spanish homework is due on Thursday
- Please bring a recorder to Music on Thursday - if you do not have one, you can purchase one from Mr. Watson for $3.00
- Mid-Progress Reports will be going home in the Wednesday envelope.
Religion: We continue to work in Chapter 2; discussing God’s faithfulness and understanding the meaning of covenant.
Reading: Read! Read! Read! Skeleton book project is due next Thursday, October 8.
English: We will begin Unit 2, Nouns; identifying nouns in sentences, distinguishing between common and proper nouns, and writing a biographical sketch using common and proper nouns. Chapter 1 tests will be coming home in the Wednesday envelope.
Writing: The students are working hard on their descriptions. This week the focus is adding similes and metaphors to elaborate their descriptions, and using transitional words to connect ideas.
Spelling: We do not have spelling homework or a spelling test on Thursday; the fire drill postponed our Unit 1 test to Thursday so a new list was not introduced.
