Miss Mayor’s Kindergarten News!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every family this year for making my first year of teaching a great success! I have been able to see growth in each child and I know it could not have happened without the help of each family. I want to thank you also for your dedication and help throughout the year. The tremendous amount of help was overwhelming and very much appreciated.
Please keep your children reading each day and perhaps even keep a “Summer Journal” in which their writing skills can stay sharp! This will only help them in the transition from summer into first grade. Also, keeping up on the High Frequency words will be a great help.
This week will be short and sweet. On Thursday we will have a pizza lunch (outside w/ beach towels from home) and then have our end of the year “Beach Themed Party.”
We will be having a beach themed week in K3. I think this will be an exciting way to lead up to our end-of-the-year bash.
Also, I will be sending home your child’s seat sack, pouch, journal, etc. on Thursday so please send them with a shopping bag to be used to transport these items home.
Again, thank you for your support and dedication in my first year at SJA! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with and getting to know your children. They will be forever in my heart as my first class ever!
