2A TODAY MAY 29

Good Morning!

It is hard to believe that we are at the end of another year. Truly, each year goes quicker than the one before. That must be a sign of age!!

I want to thank you all for a great year. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching your children in second grade. Each one of them has touched my heart and is very special to me. As I look back on the year, I am amazed at their growth and the progress that they have made. It has been a very good experience. Please keep their skills sharp over the summer by having them read and write daily. Take advantage of the summer reading clubs at your library and buy a journal that your child can write in everyday. Review math facts with flash cards, as well.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out over the year. Your dedication and support is much appreciated.
I wish you all a wonderful relaxing summer. I will see you in August refreshed and renewed and back from my travels in Africa.
