Ms. Weber’s update: Week of 5/4-5/8
Published by Ms. Weber (7C) April 30th, 2009 in Announcements.I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and was able to spend some time outside. Our bad weather just seems to not want to let up. Hopefully this week brings us some sunny days. We continue to plug away our days as the school year comes to an end. Tuesday the 7th grade has a vocabulary quiz over unit 13. Wednesday we have a performing arts show in the afternoon. Friday our 8th graders will be making their confirmations. Congratulations! In other class news please read below:
7th Eng. We are going to finish up chapter 16 and there will be a test on Wednesday.
7th Lit. We will continue to read the Giver and a quiz on Thursday over chapters 6-10 will be given. Vocabulary is due on Tuesday.
8th Eng and 8th Lit. We will continue to work on our newspaper projects. Projects will be put together Monday 5/11. We have no class on Wednesday.
6th Eng. We will spend all week working on pronoun/antecedent agreement. A quiz will be given on Thursday.
6th Lit. Monday and part of Tuesday we will present totem poles. We then begin reading a play in class. All of the reading will be done in class and smaller assignments will be given daily to reinforce comprehension.
