Flu Update

She gave them some ways they could help prevent the spread of the virus while being very careful not to panic or worry them. We ask that you do the same at home. Please discuss the flu and how it came about and who is most likely to catch it and ways to prevent it.
From now until the pandemic threat level is lessened the children can bring their own bottled water so they will not need to use the drinking fountain. Please be sure to mark it with their name so water bottles are not being shared. We suggest personal hand sanitizer, as well, although the children are given ample opportunities to wash throughout the day.
We have a pandemic plan in place and if we should be directed by the Illinois Department of Health to put it into effect you would be notified by Notify Quick by phone, through Email, on the blog, and the Emergency Closing Center at www.emergencyclosingcenter.com of any closings and then re-openings.
