STEP Walk

Please consider the STEP walk this year - on Sunday, May 17. You can bring the whole family to walk through downtown Lisle with Father Gabriel in the lead. Non ‘village’ walkers are invited into church for a ‘prayer’ walk at the same time.
Afterwards, in the gym, we’ll have speakers, videos, hot dogs and foods to sample from around the world, a kids’ activity center, Fair Trade items, including coffee and chocolate, for sale, an advocacy area and more.
The idea of the walk is to raise some money to help eliminate poverty. BUT it is also equally important to raise awareness of all the poverty issues that surround us all.
Pick up a STEP packet after Masses the next few weekends. Bring your family and friends - rain or shine it will be a joyous community affair - and the food is free!
