8th Grade Media Project
Published by Mrs. Ansier (MMC) February 10th, 2009 in Announcements.
Dear 8th grade parents,
Your students have been working with me throughout the year on a DVD during their Media Project classes. I have asked each of them to submit a one-minute video clip, which they can record and/or edit here in school or at home. The videos will be compiled into a DVD they will receive (at no charge to them) at the end of the year.
This Media Project DVD replaces the video yearbook DVD that we have produced in the past. Students are also welcome to use their free time, and sometimes even some class time during News Show classes, to work on this project.
I am sure your students will tell you that producing even a one-minute video is time consuming. This is why I have made myself available to help out each day before school, during lunch and whenever else it is possible to assist them.
As of this time, there are many students who have not yet completed their portion of the project. I have told them the only way they will receive a free DVD of their classmates at the end of the year is if they have submitted something to be included.
Please talk to your students about their progress on the Media Project. All submission should be in by the first week of May at the latest, so we can make a fun and memorable DVD.
Thanks for your cooperation and support,
Mrs. Ansier
MMC Coordinator
