It was so good to see all of you at Open House last night. I hope you enjoyed seeing all your child’s work and visiting the Book Fair and Science Fair. The children were indeed excited and proud to show you all that they have been doing in second grade. It was a fun week and we are finishing it off with our spirit rally this afternoon which we are really looking forward to.
A big thank you to the moms who treated the faculty to the nice luncheon on Wednesday. The food was delicious and the gesture was much appreciated. Thanks to the mom’s who watched our class while we enjoyed our lunch.
On to the next event. We will exchange valentines on Thursday Feb. 12. Please do not put any child’s name on the envelope in order to save time passing them out. There are 32 children in 2A.
Please remember to have your child bring boots, hats and gloves everyday. It is still very cold and we still go outside when we have the chance. If they forget any of these items they have to sit on the bench outside the office during recess. Thank you for your help with this.
