Back to work!
No POTW this week, the next one will be posted Friday, 12/5.
Math competition at St. Francis High School is Saturday, 12/6. I have met with a group of students and distributed practice material. If you were unable to come to the initial meeting but are still interested, let me know as soon as possible. We will meet again this week, probably not until Thursday after school. I will need to know exactly who will be able to compete in order to send permission slips home. The actual contest is from 9:00 until approximately 12:00. All pertinent information will be on the permission slips. I may need help with drivers.
8th Grade Math:
8-1 We will begin Ch. 11 this week. There may be a quiz on Friday, 12/5
8-3 We will begin Ch. 5 this week and will not have a quiz or test this week.
7th Grade Math:
7-2 We will begin Ch. 5 this week, a Geometry unit. You will PROBABLY not have a quiz this Friday.
7-1 We will be working on the second half of Ch. 4, solving percent problems. No quiz or test for you this week.
6th Grade Math:
6-1 (purple book) You will have a quiz on the first half of Ch. 4 this week; most likely Tuesday or Wednesday.
6-3 (red book) We will begin Ch. 5 this week; operations with fractions. No quiz or test for you this week.
