St. Joan of Arc School

This week begins a new trimester for the junior high, and students will receive the report cards for the first trimester this afternoon. In my 8th grade News Show class, we are on a semester schedule, so the students will have no grades posted for the class. That will happen after the end of the semester. However, I spoke with students individually to explain this and to give them an oral evaluation of their work so far this year. Overall, I am very pleased with the level of enthusiasm, dedication and cooperation our news show teams have shown. I am very happy and proud to be able to work with each and every one of them.

Friday is our Thanksgiving broadcast, and we have been putting together a very special news show. Within a few weeks, we will have our Christmas broadcasts, which will be the last two shows of the semester. Hard to believe our broadcasts are winding down for the first semester already! Ask your students; I am sure they will say it has been a great experience for all of us.
