Please encourage children to refrain from leaning back on their chair!!  It is dangerous to everyone.  This year there are quite a few students who unconsciously push back.  I could use your help to relay that this is unacceptable at school. The children really are getting underway in their major subjects.  Routines seem to be understood at this point.  Thanks for all your help.

Hopefully, your child is practicing hisher Saint’s speech at home and you are working on the costume for that date.  If you need help, let us know.

Volunteers – I would be interested in having someone come to listen to readers from 11:00 to 11:30 on either Tuesday and Wednesday.  If your child is in group 1, Dogs, or 2, Giraffes and you are available at that time, please let me know.

Also, if any one is available from 1:00 – 2:00 on Wednesday afternoons to help in the technology lab teaching children how to take the Accelerated Reading Test and to be available to manage a small group with math and reading games on the computer, please let me know.
