All me to Introduce…

Miss Shannon Mayor. Our newest addition to the kindergarten team. Miss Mayor is proud to be returning to St. Joan of Arc as she grew up in the Lisle area and attended both SJA and Benet Academy. She then graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. Miss Mayor is also currently pursuing her Master’s Degree as Reading Specialist from National Louis University.
For the past two years, Miss Mayor has had the opportunity of being a teacher’s assistant in a primary aged classroom. She feels this was an experience that prepared her to share her enthusiasm for working with children and her determination to create a student centered learning environment in her classroom.
Miss Mayor is very excited to begin her journey as a faculty member at St. Joan of Arc and hopes to encourage our students and lead them on a path to success!
