We hope everyone had a relaxing and fun-filled Memorial Day Weekend! We are amazed that the end of the year is upon us. This will be our last blog from the PE Department. On behalf of Mr. Wind, Mrs. Wenzel and Mrs. Blakemore, we have really enjoyed all of the kids in every grade this year.

We will collect gym locks from our Jr. High classes this week. Remember, if you have lost your lock, it is $3.00 to replace them. 4th and 5th grades are again having “democratic” gym classes this week and the kids will be voting on what they would like to do.

Kindergarten had their last gym class with Mrs. B last Friday. We had scooter relays and potato sack races. They had a wonderful time! 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades will also have relays this week.

Parents, we reminded all the kids from every class to stretch over the summer. This will help them pass the Presidential Physical Fitness V-Sit Test next September. Have a wonderful summer vacation and we will see you next fall!
