Reminder dates for 8th Grade Confirmation
Published by Mr. Gormley (7A) March 30th, 2008 in Announcements.1. All Confirmation students’ stoles should be completed by Tuesday, April 8th. Students will be informed when to bring them to their religion classes the week of April 8th. Each student will explain his/her stole to his/her religion class.
2. Confirmation Retreat: Friday, April 11, 2008 @ 7:00-10:00 p.m.@ Parish Activity Room and Gym. This is mandatory for all students wanting to be confirmed at St. Joan of Arc. More information will be provided the week of April 8th.
3. Rite of Commitment Mass: Sunday, April 13, 2008 @ 11:30 AM Mass. All Confirmation students are required to attend along with an adult. After this Mass there will be practice for Confirmation, the only practice that will be conducted. Sponsors do not have to attend but an adult needs to line up with each student as we will be practicing marching into the Church.
4. 8th Grade Confirmation: Friday, April 18, 2008 @ 7:30 PM- Bishop Roger Kaffer
5. Confirmation Fees were due in the Office of Faith Formation no later than Friday, March 7, 2008:
Total: $48.00 payable […] If you have not paid this fee or sent in your sponsor form signed by the sponsor’s parish priest, it needs to be done the week of April 8th.
6 Final Confirmation Test will take place the week of April 14-17th, 2008. Students will have a study guide of all questions and answers from which they can study. Parents can help students review for this test by asking them the questions from the study guide.
