We have down-loaded the student’s work to the common drive at school and the students will present their power point presentations next week, the first week of February. The Illustrations and written reports or power point presentations for the Plains Native Americans are due Friday, February 1st. In science, the students are writing or creating reports of their choice, about fossils. They are asked to include, in their short write-up, the terms used on pp. 74-79, of their science books. (fossil, imprint, cast, mold, relative age, index fossil, and absolute age) This short report is also due on Friday, February 1st.
Mrs. Kirk brought in the Cookbooks created by the students. They are wonderful! I hope all will take a chance to see the students’ entries and enjoy betting for it at the auction. It is a work of art and will be a great prize for whoever wins the bid. The art work is priceless! The recipes written by the students are a treasure to behold.
Come see the big show Thursday night. The fifth grade will not disappoint you. They are great singers and will be the crowd pleasers. Come and enjoy the singing of this great group of performers. Hope to see you there! Mrs. Slapansky
