FEB. 1: Final test on 50 states, location and Capitals.
Social Studies
Topics to study this week:
a. Power of the Catholic Church vs. the Power of the Monarchy
during the Middle Ages.
b. Video on the Crusades pp 524-532
Grade 7 Social Studies
1. Presenting activities on the Executive Branch (Jan. 27 & 29)
2. Video on the Presidency
3. Test on the Executive Branch (Jan. 30th or Feb. 4th)
All students should review each night for the final. The final test will be around the end of February or beginning of March.
Grade 8 Social Studies
1. Present plays on the Great Depression
2. Review importance of FDIC, SEC and SS on our lives today.
3. Activity regarding the ability to survive during the Great Depression
4. Poverty Quiz made up by Catholic Bishops.
5. Test on the Great Depression – Feb. 5th.
