Published by Ms. Brown (3A) January 27th, 2008 in Announcements. This week is Catholic Schools Week–a lot of fun activities for everyone. In between we will get some school work done too!
Spanish: pages 21-22 due Friday
Religion: On Monday we will review Chapter 12 and take the chapter test on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday our Good Works Apple Tree is due. We will review Unit 4 during the rest of the week.
Reading:The Rulers will read In My Family, The Aces will read Koala Catchers. Both groups will read the stories aloud on Wednesday. The Masters will take a unit test Monday and begin the vocabulary and grammar work for The Bat Boy and His Violin. The Masters will not read the story aloud until next week on Monday as we this week we have a shortened number of Reading classes.
English: We will work with using commas in a series and quotation marks.
Science: We will paint our planets on Monday morning. Everyone needs their paint shirt and we will work on our planet reports, planet profile charts, and planet packets.
Math: The Octagons begin Chapter 11 and will cover lessons 11.1-11.9. The Triangles begin Chapter 9 and will cover lessons 9.1-9.4. All groups keep practicing math facts.
All in all that is it academically. We look forward to a performing arts assembly on Thursday and of course on Friday the Spirit Rally. Along the way an ice cream treat and crazy sock and inside out shirt day. Thursday night is our music performance so please make sure your child is in their classroom by 6:45.
Have a great week!
