4B - Week of October 1-5

Religion: We are beginning Chapter 3, The Ten Commandments. First, we will look at the life of Joseph and discuss forgiveness. On Tuesday, we will read from Exodus to learn the story of Moses. We will finish the week learning the Ten Commandments and discussing the meaning of each one.

English: We will continue to work on Chapter 2, nouns.

In our Writer’s Workshop, we are finishing up the final draft of our descriptive paragraphs.

Spelling: The spelling test for this week’s list will be on Friday, October 12th.

Spanish: Projects are due on Thursday.

Music: Each child needs to bring his/her recorder. .

Reminders: No hot lunch on Thursday.

No school on Friday.
