4A - Week of Oct. 1 - 4

CHIT CHAT: There is no hot lunch on Thursday. “Sleepy Hollow” (PSO activity) will be Tuesday morning. No school on Friday.

RELIGION: Students are making visual biographies of the life of St. Therese. We’ll watch a movie about her too. Later in the week students begin a scripture study called “Heroes of Faith” (packet) and our first hero is Joshua. All work is done in class.

SOCIAL STUDIES: This week’s focus is regions of the United States (pp. 40 - 45).

SCIENCE: Weather maps are due Thursday. Guidelines have been provided. A video about clouds/satellites is planned. Students receive directions later in the week for a cloud diorama due October 12 (F). A study guide will be distributed about the water cycle and different clouds. We will discuss E p. 68 - 74 (text)
