My official SJA welcome to all of my 6-7-8 grade families. We are all off to a great start this school year. In 6th. and 7th. grade students are working on a Layered Curriculum with opportunities to select their own work styles. Attention is given to written and verbal skills–all an art in progress. The eighth graders are doing short story work with intense detail to : plot, setting, mood, characterization, foreshadowing and writing skills.

Literature Log due dates are September 12, October 3 and October 24.

Words of the week are due each Wednesday.

I was delighted to see so many of you at Curriculum Night!
