2A - Happy Friday

They are doing a great job in second grade so far. Our week was packed with fun activites and lots of new things that we learned. It was a lot to remember but they seem to have the routine mastered already. They are very smart!!
A few reminders for you now. Please make sure that you see and initial the assignment notebook every night. I check them every morning and if they have been signed your child gets a star. It is a very good way for you to check on their homework, as well. Beginning next week they will be getting Reading homework on Mondays and Wednesdays and Math homework on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Today they are bringing their daily journals home. They wrote a letter to you in their journals describing their first week in second grade. Enjoy reading the letters and then you may write a letter back to your child in their journal. Please make sure that the journal comes back to school as we use it everyday.
