In English classes we are starting out reviewing grammar. It is our hope that the students will remember and apply the rules of grammar, and this occurs after much repetition and practice.
Again we are emphasizing reading, and the students are expected to read three books per trimester and hand in a Literature Log for each book. The books must be from our library and no book will be accepted that is studied in another class. The first Literature Log is due Sept. 12. The averaged grade from the three literature logs will be counted as a test grade in both literature and English.
