3B - Happenings
Published by Mrs. Donovan (3B) May 20th, 2007 in Announcements. This will probably be my final blog , unless something comes up to alert you about. It has been just a lovely year with your children! I will cherish the memories of this year together.
The fun we are looking forward to this week is a Band Concert on Monday morning. On Thursday we will have our final ‘Arts Alive’.
The extra fun for next week will be the field trip to the Adler Planetarium, of course. Also, the Ice Cream Social is Thursday, 5/31. D.E.A.R. Day is Friday, 6/1. Be sure the children have some good reading material.
Our best day will be the next Monday, June 4, the final full day of school. The room moms have planned a pizza lunch followed by games and festivities. The children have really earned this celebration. Be sure to pack a snack and drink for you child.
Tuesday, June 5 will have an open house format. It is a day of attendance, therefor, your child must personally pick up their report card before 11:00am please.
We are encouraging the children to bring home some old and discontinued textbooks. I hope they enjoy them and play school often.
