6th grade–We are beginning the study of complements. A good way to learn this sentence structure is by baseline diagramming–subject, verb, complement. Also, we are beginning an expository writing project in which the students choose a person or activity they feel they can write about with enthusiasm. This will be due Thurs. April 26.
7th grade–We are continuing the study of verbals, participles and infinitives. We are also writing a persuasive paper. Students choose something they would like to persuade their parents to do this summer. This will be due Thurs. April 26.
8th grade–We are enjoying the end of the year roatations–Buddy Books, The Outsiders, and High School Reading.
8th graders were given a form to be filled out regarding graduation diplomas and fee. Please fill out and return as soon as possible.
