PE Department Week of 3/5/07
Published by Wind/Wenzel Blakemore (PE) March 1st, 2007 in Announcements.Jr. High has begun basketball drills and are currently working on lay-ups. 4th and 5th grades are working on basketball passing drills including chest and bounce passing.
1st through 3rd grades have been playing with the parachute. They love it! Ask them about “popcorn” and the “mushroom”.
Kindergarten is still on their “Games, Games, Games” unit. Last week we played the “Polka-Dot” Game. This week we will play with bean bags developing eye-hand coordination.
We have reminded all the children how important washing their hands is during this cold and flu season. We also suggested that they pack a “wet-wipe” in their lunch to wipe their hands and desk before eating.
Mrs. Blakemore has her “American Idol Predictions” posted on the bulletin board in the gym. Take a look and give us your opinion!
