We are well into our Lenten Season and it’s interesting to see what our kids are “giving up”.  Mrs. Blakemore says she’s giving up square dancing this year.  Somehow we don’t think this will happen!

The children are learning so many new dances.  Even our little ones in 1st and 2nd grade are really “cutting the rug”.  Our 4th and 5th graders have even attempted some Jr. High square dances.  They are all doing a terrific job.

We are more than halfway through with our professional dance classes with 7th and 8th grade.  March 19 will be our last class with Mr. Fuzak and the children will be allowed to dress up for that class.

Third trimester with our Jr. High, we will begin with basketball skills.  When the weather becomes warmer, we will again begin playing flag football outside.  By the way, if you “google earth” St. Joan of Arc School, you will see our Jr. High kids playing in north lawn area of the school.
